In 1998 due to an unfortunate event, I became physically disabled and was unable to work outside the home. Also, this disability prevented me from having any energy or stamina to perform daily routine tasks. Therefore, I desperately searched for something creative and as well as innovative to fill my days.
The first innovative step was learning to use the computer. Then, I discovered an auction site which contributed to a great increase in the UPS truck stops to my house because of all the things I bought on that auction site. This continued until one day, hubby said, please that's enough. Today, some of those items are still in the original boxes.
Buying on the Internet was exciting, however, selling on Ebay was a greater challenge. One day my brother-in-law suggested to me to sell perfume oils. My response to him was that I couldn't because, perfumes usually cause me to stop breathing. His response was for me to try and see. So, we bought 3 ozs. of Baby Powder, Cool Water and Blessing Perfume Oils. To my surprise, my breathing was fine. We have now gone from 3 scents to over 300 scents. We have grown from selling on Ebay to selling from our own Web site on the Internet.
In 2001, we moved to Georgia because the weather was much better for my health. We still sell the oils and have met many wonderful new friends. More importantly, we love hearing the success stories from our customers.
